This week’s news include not only a new SSL module but also a new account expiration view, new service cancellation setting and an update to CSV export plugin!

GlobeSSL module

We’re happy to introduce a new SSL integration: GlobeSSL! GlobeSSL provides a wide range of SSL certificates that are ideal for online business and eCommerce solutions. HostBill integration enables to sell, provision and manage GlobeSSL in automated fashion.Thanks to the module, the SSL certificates are issued, synchronized and renewed automatically. Clients get the opportunity to manage certificates from the client panel: easily renew the certificate, obtain its status, select and resend approval email and more. Admins can download available certificates from GlobeSSL, control account lifecycle and manage billing details as well as manage the certificate (download, get status etc).

SSL Certificates are product easily sold with other services. With HostBill flexible product configuration and available tools, you can sell the certificates separately or bundled with other products: domains, hosting etc. You can also use Cart Suggestions to upsell and cross-sell and present products clients might be interested to buy during the checkout!

Account expiration date

Account details section in admin panel provides all the information about given account and allows to manage the account. We’ve just improved the account view and added Account Expiration Date to better show when a service was paid to, so the staff members can have better insights and be able to undertake certain actions.

The account expiration date is now also more visible in client panel, in service listing and service details sections. For easier service management we also added quick links to account renewal controls and the information about the last unpaid invoice.

Service Cancellation

GDPR/ Data Retention section in HostBill General Settings allows to configure the data retention policy and decide how to record and store various client data. Among other options you can configure Cancellation Processing policy. When cancellation is processed (accepted) either manually or automatically, HostBill by default terminates service. New option allows to suspended the service instead and terminate it with a delay.

CSV Export plugin update

The CSV Export plugin is a handy tool that enables to export client data from HostBill into CSV file: invoices, transactions, accounts, domains, clients and more. We added new export filters: “Date From” and “Date To” for accounts and domains exports and a new client export column: “Credit Balance”.
