MultiBrand: assign registration fields and admin access per brand!
Managing different brands with one HostBill backend is possible thanks to MultiBrand module. Now you can set Registration fields and admin access per brand! We have some other release notes as well!
MultiBrand update
MultiBrand is one of the most powerful HostBill modules as it allows to create unlimited brands to sell your products or services on one HostBill backend. Each brand will use separate domain name, yet all of them are managed from single admin area. With MultiBrand you can assign order pages and product categories to brand, set support departments, separate billing settings and main configuration options such as languages, currency, payment gateways and other for each brand you create and manage. You can also group brands into brand groups, so that clients can use one login details across brands within a group.
Going a little further, now you can also set a different set of registration fields for each brand. As the brands that you manage may have a completely different client base and client profile, the information that you require from customers during signup may differ. In the GDPR era it’s important to collect data that you actually need, and now, owning multiple brands, you can adjust registration fields to the brand.
Another new option allows to set access for staff members per brand. In Admin access section you can now select staff members who will have access to entities of the given brand.
Release notes
There’s more news in today’s release! Downloads section allows you to add files that can be downloaded by your customers through their Client area. Downloads may include: some additional files that can be used with a certain product/service, applications which by default are paid, utility software etc. Now it is available to assign a file to a service.
Recently we’ve been working on improvements in the area of recurring billing and one of the results is the button to multiply pricing options for Regular billing cycle.
In HostBill API we added two new tasks: cancelQueueTask to cancel pending queue task by id, and getQueueTasks to list all tasks in queue module.
Additionally, Payflow PRO Token PayPal module now supports in-place tokenization of cards and Realtime Register domain module allows for price import for 2nd level TLDs.
All the news and bug fixes as usual can be found in the Changelog – updated weekly!
