New in: Dynamic DNS module
This time in our weekly release we’re presenting new Dynamic DNS module and a couple of other news!
Dynamic DNS module for HostBill
Dynamic DNS (DDNS) is a service that enables to give your network/server a permanent address on the internet. It keeps DNS records automatically updated when an IP address is changed by the internet provider. The Dynamic DNS module for HostBill allows your clients to use your existing DNS module’s server so they can set your service address on their router and it will automatically update their IP addresses for their domains. It’s a perfect tool to sell your own Dynamic DNS service to your customers! Thanks to the integration you can charge customers per dynDNS slot and let HostBill take care of all billing, payment and account management operations automatically. The Dynamic DNS module has multiple functionalities for end-clients. In client portal, using Dynamic DNS function in related service client will have ability to list existing subdomains available for Dynamic DNS service, including username and password for dyndns service, remove subdomains, show URLs for Dyndns updates to configure in the router, show remaining/available slots, create new subdomain entry on Additional Domains configured in product, as well as on domains customer currently owns.
More info on how to configure and use the module can be found in its documentation.
