PayPal Checkout v2, Registration Field groups and more HostBill news!

In today’s release we’re introducing new PayPal Checkout integration, Groups for Registrations Fields and more. Read on to check the details!

PayPal Checkout v2

PayPal Checkout v2 payment option gives your buyers a simplified checkout experience that keeps them local to your website or mobile app throughout the payment authorization process and lets them use their PayPal balance, bank account, or credit card to pay without sharing or entering any sensitive information on your site.

We’re now releasing a new, updated PayPal Checkout integration. This module, the same as the standard PayPal module, enables to turn on/off subscription payments. When a client chooses to pay with PayPal Checkout and clicks on Checkout with Paypal button, a PayPal checkout form will be displayed, allowing the client to authorize payment. Once authorized, the payment will be processed and the client will be redirected to the paid invoice details. More info on module configuration can be found in its documentation.

Registration fields groups

Registration Fields in HostBill allow to define information required upon client signup and stored in client profile.  Here you can define and edit the forms that will be available on sign-up / profile edit. There are few presets to choose from. All entries can be sorted with drag & drop and additional options are available for each field. New functionality allow to divide registration fields into groups (such as: personal information, login information, options etc). A registration field can be assigned either to only one or no group at all. Field groups are only displayed in admin area.
