New: Qlink URL shortener, Ticket Types, new reports & more
This week, we’re introducing a range of updates: the new Ticket Types feature brings improved organization to your support workflow, while the Qlink URL Shortener module helps manage and track links with ease. Two new reports provide valuable geographic revenue insights. And with the addition of Stripe Checkout v2 Crypto, you can now accept cryptocurrency payments.
Qlink URL shortener
Recently we launched the URL Shortener module, which allows you to use various service providers to create shortened urls and use them in HostBill document and message templates. Now we’re introducing another plugin: Qlink, which generates short redirect links stored locally in a database, without external software/apis. Use it to improve link management and maintain a more professional appearance in the messaging!
Ticket Types
We’re excited to introduce a new feature in HostBill Ticketing System: Ticket Types. This enhancement gives admins greater control and organization over support workflows by allowing them to define custom ticket types—such as “Bug Report”, “Feature Request”, or “Billing Issue”—and assign them to specific support departments. With this added flexibility, you can streamline ticket categorization, improve response accuracy, and ensure that each department handles only the types of tickets relevant to their expertise. It’s a simple yet effective way to boost efficiency and maintain clarity across your support operations.

Release notes
In other release notes, we’ve added two insightful new reports to HostBill: Monthly Paid Invoices by State and Annual Paid Invoices by State. These reports provide a clear breakdown of paid invoices based on the client’s state, helping you track revenue distribution across regions over time. Whether you need a monthly snapshot or a yearly overview, these reports make it easy to analyze geographic trends, support tax reporting, and make data-driven business decisions.
This week we also added a new payment method to the popular payment gateway: Stripe Checkout v2 Crypto! This new payment method allows you to accept cryptocurrency payments via Stripe’s secure and streamlined Checkout interface. With support for popular crypto assets and a seamless customer experience, Stripe Checkout v2 Crypto makes it easier than ever to offer flexible, modern payment options to your clients.
