Quite a few announcements this week in HostBill: PHP 8.1 Support, new integrations: Domeny.tv registrar and Paddle Pay Link payment module, and a few updates!

PHP 8.1 Support

We’re happy to inform that after a period of development and testing, HostBill now officially supports PHP 8.1, though it is still in a BETA phase. PHP 8.1 stable will be available within the next few weeks and we recommend not changing the PHP environment on critical HostBill installations.
Recently we have informed that HostBill no longer supports PHP 5.6 and the minimum required version to install HostBill is 7.2, or versions 7.3 and 7.4. Those versions are working on a Ioncube Loader 10.2. Now PHP 8.1 is also available but it requires the newest Ioncube Loader – v12.  As the previous Loaders support only versions up to PHP 7.4, for the moment the PHP 8.0 will not be supported by HostBill.

Domeny.tv module

Domeny.tv is a Polish company established in 2002 that offers a full range of services related to the registration and maintenance of internet domains. The company is an accredited NASK and EURid partner. HostBill integration enables to sell and automatically manage Domeny.tv domain names. The module provides automated registration, renewal and transfers of the domains. It supports the Lookup Engine feature so you can use the registry API as lookup engine for fast & accurate domain searches. Client features include managing contacts, getting EPP code, updating and registering name servers. The module is free and available to all HostBill users!

Paddle Payment Gateway

Another payment gateway is now supported by HostBill! Paddle offers SaaS companies a comprehensive payments infrastructure and handles all kinds of currencies, taxes, compliance, and billing solutions. Now you can process payments in HostBill using Paddle Pay Link! The integration allows to generate a link with custom attributes set for a one-time checkout. This payment module also supports quick, one-click refund processing. As all payments gateway integrated with HostBill it’s included in all HostBill licenses.

Direct Admin update

DirectAdmin module for Hostbill helps to provide your customers with the best performance allowing them to manage all vital aspects of their hosting account directly from HostBill client portal: manage Domains, FTP, SSL certificates, setup email accounts, manage databases and much more. The module is now equipped with two new client functions: SpamAssasin & Catch-All.

Ticket Time Tracker update

Support Time and Performance Tracker module is an extension for HostBill Ticketing System, which lets you measure and analyze your support staff performance. The module helps you to organize your support tasks by creating different job types that the tickets can be assigned to. Every ticket has its own custom timetable and every second your staff spends working on support thread is logged. With today’s update time tracker records can now be edited and deleted. We also added a widget showing active ticket time trackers for staff members.
