HostBill new release

New release: smarter Filtering, better Domain Control & Performance Improvements

The latest HostBill update brings improvements across admin usability, domain management, security, and performance to make daily operations faster, clearer, and more flexible.

Admin area updates

A new “Current” pseudo-status is now available in client tabs for both services and domains, grouping active, pending, and suspended items into a single, convenient view, with a matching “Current” filter added to the Services and Domains tabs for quicker navigation. Communication around upgrades has also been enhanced, as order upgrade emails now include more detailed information, particularly for form-field–based upgrades, helping both admins and clients better understand applied changes. Finally, the Transactions interface has been optimized, with gateway logs now loading via AJAX, resulting in a smoother and more responsive admin experience when reviewing payment activity.

Domain management updates

Domain management is now more flexible, with the ability to filter client domains by status directly in the Domains tab, while editing domain contacts has been improved with a Chosen-powered country selector, making it easier to search and select countries, especially for international clients.

A new option allows domains to be manually renewed even when Registry Auto-Renew is active—giving you more flexibility in billing and renewal workflows. We’ve added validation to ensure that the selected domain contact exists and the contact belongs to the currently logged-in user. This prevents accidental or unauthorized contact assignments during domain orders. In Domain Reseller we added Fixed contact ID support. New app connection options allow domain resellers to use fixed contact IDs, making integrations more predictable and easier to manage across multiple registrations.

Modules

The IPAM plugin now adds List and VLAN filters to the client search modal, making it significantly easier to locate and manage IP resources in larger environments.

All list of changes and bug fixes as usual is in the Changelog section.
