HostBill new release

New release: internal domain transfer & DirectAdmin Licenses update

Today in the newest release a new domain feature is introduced: internal domain transfers. We also updated Ticket Department settings, logs, DirectAdmin Licenses client functions and a couple of other modules!

In Other Domain Settings there’s a new option now to Allow internal domain transfers between different HostBill installations/accounts. When enabled, domains registered in a given installation will show as available for transfer in clientarea lookups. The transfer will not be made using the registrar API but by changing domain ownership confirmed with EPP code, which will be provided from one installation to the other.

In other admin panel news, we updated the security and admin panel access. Now, if you wish to change the admin area password, you need to first enter a valid current password and only then the new one.

In Ticket Department settings, you can set the department as visible/accessible only to unregistered clients. This can be configured via Other Settings section, where you can choose who is entitled to open tickets for this department. You can allow anyone to open the ticket, only registered clients, only staff members or only unregistered clients.

In admin panel we also changed the “Create simmiliar” invoice action that now creates invoice with past invoice and due dates. Another change was made to ticket import log, which now shows more descriptive status and the client profile change log will now also log profile creation.

Direct Admin Licenses integration has two client functions dedicated for this module: License sessions, showing all active sessions and License details, allowing to view and manage license details and IP. The second one has now more configuration options, enabling to Hide IP Address and Hide OS. Additionally, we added translations for texts in client functions, so you can adjust it and translate it for international customers.

In modules, we also added the authorization using access token in Acronis Cyber Protect and in QuickBooks Online the ability to remove a client from QBO for a specific brand. Other updates concern Proxmox, Stripe and Pterodactyl.io modules – for details as well as bug fixes and other news please visit the Changelog!
