New release: contract notifications, new API functions & more
In the first release in the new 2024 year we’re introducing new contract expiration notifications, a couple of new API functions, updates to VodiaPBX and other modules!
Contracts in HostBill are automatically generated documents that customer accepts after order (if the order scenario requires this step). Contracts can be mandatory – in this case they need to be accepted by the client before the order can be completed. Non-mandatory contracts do not block the order, a client can accept the contract any time in client area. In client profile you can set an expiration date for the contract. Now, you can also send the expiration reminders – both to staff and client, before and/or after the expiration date – you can set the exact number of days after/before the expiration when the notification should be sent.
Today in the release we added a few new API functions concerning domain management: a function that retrieves and updates domain contact details, a function that generates a new domain renewal order and a function that retrieves and updates DNSSEC for a domain. Additionally, we also added category_id filter in getAccounts call and cid parameter in getKBCategories call. We also updated multiple call descriptions with available filters.
Quite a lot of new options were added to modules this week. VodiaPBX module for HostBill lets you use data from Vodia to charge for auto attendants and conference bridges on domain or used extensions. Now the module supports the account metrics feature for: Auto Attendants, Confrence Bridges, Extensions, Call Queues, Service Flags, IVR Nodes, Paging Groups and Park Orbits. We also added support for specific extension type metrics: Regular, Teams, App Only, Classroom, Hotel room, Mailbox, Cell Phone, Residential, Call queue agent and Hot desk.
Hetzner Cloud and UpCloud VPS hosting modules now both have basic admin VM management/info in admin panel and Hetzner Cloud also has a new client area backup management section. IP Address Manager now allows to edit multiple IPs. eWay payment module is now equipped with functionality to tokenize card when adding it from admin interface. Another payment gateway – Sepa Direct Debit now supports Credit Batch – exports refunds made in admin UI for bank to process.
