Next version preview pt.3 – PayPal balance addon

It’s around one week until next HostBill will be released, and because of this we’ve decided to show you something special – new free HostBill addon which will be included in the next version – PayPal Balance Addon. This simple addon gives you at a glance information about your current PayPal balance. But the best part about it is the simplicity – no need to edit any files!

See how you will be able to start using this (and many other addons):

1. Visit addon management section, and hit “Activate” next to this addon

2. Fill in your API data, and hit Save Changes

3. That’s it! Your homescreen will look similar to this attached below:

Hello – we’re recently getting lot of demands on documentation – how to create custom gateways for HostBill. We try to answer every request for gateways/hosting control panels/ domain registrars and add such modules into HostBill, however we also want to give such possibility to other developers.

Announcing HostBill v.1.0.6 Upcoming Release

We’re working more than hard here on another release – this one will be focused mostly on bringing third party modules requested on our forums. Here are some of the modules we’ve already done for this version:

  • Interworx hosting panel
  • ISPConfig hosting panel
  • Namecheap domain registrar
  • NoChex gateway
  • AliPay gateway
  • and few more (to be announced with the release)

So stay tuned for version 1.0.6 release announcement, which is scheduled to the middle of February 2010. Want to see another module on official 1.0.6 release list? Let us know using our community forum!
