We’re happy to share a new HostBill update that brings meaningful improvements across the API and admin tools and multiple updates for IP Address Manager module, freeRadius integration, Enom DNS and DNS.pt modules!

In the admin area, client management is now faster and more precise thanks to new search filters that allow you to locate clients by account, client, or domain IDs in specific client search. Support teams gain more control with a new option that lets you choose which tickets are visible to guest users, helping you balance transparency and privacy when sharing ticket information externally. For developers and integrators, the HostBill API is now even more flexible. You can set invoice metadata directly using the editInvoiceDetails API call, making it easier to attach custom data, external references, or internal tracking information to invoices.

Several infrastructure-related modules have also been improved. The FreeRADIUS module now checks for variables in a parent service during service creation, allowing inherited configurations to be applied correctly and reducing setup errors.

Domain and DNS management has been enhanced for Enom users with support for AAAA records, enabling full IPv6 DNS management directly from HostBill. This makes it easier to support modern network environments and customers who rely on IPv6 connectivity.

In DNS.pt domain registrar you can now define a Technical contact directly in the App Connection settings, to have more control over who receives technical notifications and DNS-related alerts, making it easier to route operational issues to the right team or provider.

The IPAM module has been enhanced to automatically add IPAM data to account details, giving both admins and clients clearer visibility into assigned network resources. For users of KEA DHCP, this update introduces support for clearing leases using the lease_cmds hook library, making network management more flexible. We’ve also fixed an issue where configuration updates could overwrite manually added reservations, ensuring that custom settings remain intact.
