New release: Smarter Registration Fields, updated Ticket Macros & more!
We’re back with another HostBill update packed with several enhancements: field logic for registration fields, additional custom invoice reminders, new features for ticket macros and main system log and more!
Field logic for Registration fields
The Registration Fields section in HostBill allows you to define what information clients are asked to provide during signup (and what you store in their profile). You’ll find it in Admin → Clients → Registration Fields. We’ve now introduced a powerful yet easy-to-use feature that lets you define conditional visibility (show/hide logic) for registration fields. Controlling the visibility of specific registration fields is based on the values selected in other fields — for example, displaying additional information fields only when a certain account type is chosen. This allows you to create dynamic registration forms and whether you’re tailoring your forms for different customer segments or simplifying the user experience, this new “Field Logic” section makes it effortless. Additionally, we’ve redesigned the Clients → Registration Fields section with a tabbed interface, making it easier to organize and navigate field groups. Combined with the new field logic, this update makes your registration forms more powerful and more user-friendly than ever.

Other admin area changes
Support teams can now take their automation one step further: when creating or editing Ticket Macros, you can now change the ticket type automatically. This means greater control and flexibility in routing, categorizing, and managing incoming support requests — saving time and ensuring better workflow consistency. For enhanced transparency and security, all “Login as Client” actions performed by admins are now recorded in the main system log. A new shortcut for domain import has been added directly to the Domain App connections screen, making domain management and synchronization faster than ever. We’ve expanded your billing flexibility by adding the option to configure additional custom reminders, aside from the standard “Unpaid” and “Overdue” invoice reminders. This allows for even more granular control over your invoice reminder schedule, helping you automate payment notifications to match your billing policy perfectly.
More news, as always, in the Changelog!
