New release: improved integrations, new automation task & new email notification!
We’re introducing a new round of improvements designed to give you more control, stronger automation, and smoother integrations across your HostBill environment. This week we added new automation task, new client email notification and updates to Enom, SSL Automation Helper, DK Hostmaster and Exact Online modules.
Release notes
To help maintain optimal system performance, we’ve added a new automation task that removes outdated price update simulations. If you regularly test pricing strategies or run bulk simulations, historical simulation data can accumulate over time. This new task allows you to automatically clean up old simulations, keeping your database organized and improving overall system efficiency without manual intervention.
We’ve introduced a new client email notification titled “Domain Sync: Pending Transfer to Active.” When a domain transfer is successfully completed and the status changes from Pending Transfer to Active, clients are automatically informed. This ensures greater transparency during the transfer process, reduces uncertainty, and minimizes support inquiries related to domain activation.
The SSL Automation Helper now allows you to define a default TTL value. This provides better control over DNS validation behavior and helps standardize configurations across your environment. By setting a default TTL, you can reduce inconsistencies, optimize propagation handling, and improve the reliability of SSL automation processes.
Managing domains through the Enom module is now more flexible. Administrators can delete domains directly via the eNom integration, giving you greater control over domain lifecycle management. This enhancement simplifies administrative workflows and helps keep your domain portfolio clean and properly maintained.
The DK Hostmaster integration has been updated to support the newer API version. This ensures continued compatibility and long-term stability while allowing you to benefit from the latest registry-side improvements. Keeping integrations aligned with current API standards is essential for reliable domain operations, and this update ensures your setup remains future-ready.
For businesses using Exact Online, we’ve added an option to force an invoice brand re-check before export. This additional validation step ensures that invoices are exported with the correct branding applied. It helps reduce accounting inconsistencies and improves accuracy in financial reporting, especially for companies operating with multiple brands or business entities.
To improve checkout transparency, the 2019 client theme now displays information about the redemption fee directly in the cart when applicable. Customers can see the full cost implications before completing their purchase, reducing surprises and increasing trust during domain renewals. This change enhances clarity and creates a smoother, more informed purchasing experience.
