HostBill New release

New release: improvements in billing, Forms, Gateway Fees and more!

This week we continue to deliver user-focused improvements in HostBill biling, forms, Gateway Fees module, Theme Configuration and more! Check what we’ve prepared for you in the newest release!

Release notes

A new setting in the Client/Group Billing section now allows administrators to override the global “Update recurring prices on currency rate changes” setting. This means you can now offer price stability to specific clients or groups regardless of currency fluctuations—ideal for long-term contracts or enterprise customers seeking fixed pricing.

Form duplication has been refined: archived products are now excluded from the list when copying forms from existing products. This small but impactful change helps maintain a clutter-free workflow by focusing only on active, relevant product data during setup or updates.

The Gateway Fees plugin now includes an option to generate a separate invoice for payment processing fees so you can enhance billing transparency and provide a cleaner accounting separation between service charges and transactional fees.

Admins can now define Smarty variables in the Theme Configuration to customize the left-hand menu in the admin interface, to allow dynamic menu adjustments.

WHOIS lookups for .app.dev, and .nexus domains now use RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol). This ensures better security, structure, and accuracy in domain data retrieval.

In admin panel we added the option that allows to add a wildcard to SAN type field. This is now supported by GoGetSSL module.

Modules update include support for domain imports using the gandinet_rest API of Gandi.net module, new ‘Code’ column in Inventory Manager Smart Search and the option to define if root disk can be hot-resized in Cloudstack. All the details are available in the Changelog.
