New MYNIC domain registrar module
Today we’re happy to present new domain registrar module integrated with HostBill, a couple of new admin area functionalities and updates to QuickBooks Online module!
MYNIC domain registrar
MYNIC is the official .MY domain registry recognized by ICANN, which provides Malaysian organizations and individuals their unique brand identity on the Internet. MYNIC administers nine domain name categories i.e. .my, .com.my, .biz.my, .org.my, .net.my, .edu.my, .gov.my, .mil.my and .name.my. HostBill integration enables to sell and manage MYNIC domains out of the box. HostBill automation covers registrations, transfers, renewals and synchronization. The module, apart from standard client area functions, allows end-users to manage contacts and updates nameservers from client panel. The module You can check the details in the module’s feature-page.
New functionalities in the admin panel
New option in Billing Settings enables to set “Reminder for services with cancellations” and to disable sending unpaid/overdue reminders for services with cancellation requests. When it comes to billing, a new option was introduced, that indicates whether the invoice should be generated after Estimate approval by the client.
Another change that we made allows staff to generate final ID for invoice no matter of final generation settings. This week we’ve also added a functionality to select certain domain TLDs for mass notification/public tickets.
QuickBooks Online integration
Quickbooks Online module for HostBill enables data export from HostBill billing platform to Quickbooks Online accounting software. The module allows to seamlessly export existing customers, transactions and issued invoices information and set automation rules to export new customers, new recurring invoices and new transactions into Quickbooks Online accounting software. There are three new functions added to the module. In module’s configuration you can choose not to use default TaxCode for unmapped tax. You can specify target transaction account per gateway/currency. Also, QuickBooks Online for HostBill now also sets customer currency on export.
