Introducing improvements in Estimates: now you can add optional product lines and browse all changes made within Estimates in the new Estimate Changes Log!

HostBill Estimates are estimate orders that you can create for your clients. This option is very useful while dealing with undecided clients or when you want to offer some extra products or services. Estimates can be downloaded in PDF format, sent to clients directly from HostBill and converted into invoice. New option for Estimates allows to set estimate items as optional – those items will be priced, but not included in the total cost. When converting such estimate into invoice, the optional item will not be added to the invoice. You can however use the {$item.optional} variable in Estimate Template to mark on the pdf document that given item is optional.

Another new feature for Estimates is the Estimate Changes Log, which displays in detail every update made to the Estimate.

In other release news, this week we updated the Finland tax rate from 24% to 25.5%. In Client IP Whitelist Management plugin there’s a new option to remove all client-related IP access rules. All new features and bug fixes are listed in the Changelog!
