A security update for HostBill has just been released for all HostBill versions – **please update your HostBill** to the most recent version: 2024-03-18.

We’ve discovered a moderate security issue that affects all HostBill versions since 2022-01-31 until the most recent releases. We suspect this security issue was exploited one time in an event reported to us.

**Resolution:**

To mitigate this issue please update your HostBill to the most recent release, version **2024-03-18** or higher, either [manually](https://hostbill.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOCS/pages/491585/Upgrading+to+new+version) or using the [Auto-Update plugin](https://hostbill.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOCS/pages/491588/Auto-Upgrade+plugin).

If you cannot update at this time and use affected version, you can apply patch available in our client portal in [Support -> Browse Downloads Library](https://clients.hostbillapp.com/index.php?/downloads/).
